SGI Origin300 Servers

The Origin 300 features a modular brick archetecture means that you can start up with 1 chassis and add up to a total of 8 plus a router brick.
Each Origin 300 chassis takes up only 2U in a standard 19inch rack.
Processors from a dual 500MHz R14000 to up to as many as 32 600MHz R14000 processors!
From 1GB to 32GB of main memory per system
NUMAlink2 architecture that scales as processors are added, with 3200MB/sec bi-directional links
Can be upgraded to Onyx 300 by adding a G-Brick
2 free 64Bit PCI slots per chassis built in
Each chassis has BaseIO (IO8) with the following ports:

10/100BaseT ethernet that will do over 11MB/sec in both directions simultaneously

2 Ultra160 SCSI busses(1 internal, 1 external) for 320MB/s total SCSI bandwidth

2 high speed serial ports each capable of 450Kbps

separate console port with connection to L1 controller

Real Time interrupt input and output ports

2 USB ports

L1 USB Port(to connect to L2 or router)

Origin systems come with a fresh full installation of IRIX6.5.22m. Media is not included unless otherwise noted. The latest Freeware can be loaded on request.

Origin systems come with a 90day(from receipt) warranty that covers the hardware against failure. 12 month warranty is available for additional 10%
