SGI Onyx350 Graphics Workstations
The Onyx350 Graphics Workstation features the sames modular archetecture as the Origin 350 but in addition has a G-Brick connected for graphics output.
The G-Brick provides up to 2 pipes of InfiniteReality grapics. Each pipe needs a XIO connection from an I-Brick. The left pipe (lookin from the rear) can take 2 RMs(RM9, RM10, or RM11), and the right side can have up to 4 RasterManagers. A GE16 is the standard Geometry Engine, and the Display Generators are DG6-2, DG5-8, DG5-GVO and DG5-TVO.
Each Onyx 350 compute chassis takes up only 2U in a standard 19inch rack, with the Infinite Reality graphics chassis(on some confirations) taking up another 12Us in the rack.
Processors from a dual 600MHz R16000 up to 32 1GHz R16000B each with 16MB Secondary Cache!
From 1GB to 8GB of main memory per chassis, 64GB maximum per system
NUMAlink3 architecture that scales as processors are added, with 3200MB/sec bi-directional links
On the back of each compute module there is:
1 serial console port
4 high speed serial ports
1 NumaLink3 port
keyboard and mouse ports
1 XIO port
Each compute module has 4 PCI-X 3.3V seperated on 2 busses one 100MHz the other 66MHz
The base compute module has an IO9 which has the following ports:
10/100/1000BaseT ethernet
2 Ultra160 SCSI busses(1 internal, 1 external) for 320MB/s total SCSI bandwidth
Real time interuupt input and output ports
They can have hot swapable redundant power supplies.

Onyx 350 systems come with a fresh full installation of IRIX6.5.27m. Media is not included unless otherwise noted. The latest Freeware can be loaded on request.
Onyx 350 systems come with a 90day(from receipt) warranty that covers the
hardware against failure. A 12 month warranty is available for an additional 10%.
